Jesus Is...

I am positive that you have seen the picture. Two sets of footprints walking side by side in the sand. The symbolism of the picture is you and Jesus walking together.

Maybe you have seen the same type of picture, but this one has one set of footprints in the sand. The symbolism is Jesus carrying you.

The third same type of picture is where there are 2 sets of footprints, but sometimes one set disappears and the footprints are never side by side. The symbolism is Jesus and you are dancing together.

Since school has begun, there are many additional stressors. Early wake-ups, getting everyone out of the house, homework, uniforms, schedules, tears (sad and happy ones), and early bedtimes. All of these are just a few that I could come up with.

As you consider all the added stressors that life has for you, where is Jesus in your life? In this “chapter” of your life, are you walking with Jesus, dancing with Him or is He carrying you? Maybe He is doing each of these every day in your life right now. Whatever position you find yourself in with Jesus right now, He says, “…I am with you always” Matt. 28:20

The key is, He is with you! Spend a moment today and every day to consider what it means when He is with you.

Walking by your side, Jesus is…
