What is an Adventurer Club?

Adventurer clubs serve children in preK through 4th grade and their families. The program aims to strengthen the parent/child relationship and further the child's development in spiritual, physical, mental and social areas.

Registration for the 2026-2027 year will be on Saturday, August 1 and Saturday, August 8 in the lobby from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Fees

Adventurers costs $55 per child, per year.

You can pay via check made out to MAC, cash or online through Adventist Giving (Adventurer Club Dues/Fees).

Where do we meet?

When we meet at the church campus, we meet in the gym.

What is the attendance requirement?
Adventurers must attend at least 70% of the club meetings and activities to receive their class pin at Investiture at the end of the year.

Do my kids have to wear uniforms?

Adventurers are required to have the official Adventurer uniform (available through AdventSource) to participate in church and conference events.

Do I have to do a background check?
A current background check is required for all adults who will be bringing or accompanying their child to Adventurer meetings and events.

How long is each meeting?
Meetings are approximately 90 minutes long and are held on Sabbaths and Sundays, according to the yearly schedule.

What about Sunday field trips?
Sunday field trips are optional and provide Adventurers with the opportunity to earn additional patches and awards.

Can I bring guests?
Adventurer meetings and events are intended for registered Adventurers and their siblings only. Please do not bring additional guests unless previously approved. 

How will parents receive information about events?
Parents will receive updates, reminders and important announcements through WhatsApp.

How are the ages broken up?

Pre-K Group: Little Lambs
Kindergarten Group: Eager Beavers
First Grade Group: Busy Bee
Second Grade Group: Sunbeam
Third Grade Group: Builder
Fourth Grade Group: Helping Hand
