From Jeff Freeman
As I look around the campus, I see the fence is built. The poles are in the ground. The chainlink portion is all attached. The gates are mounted. We have reached the goal of fencing off the MAC/Carman campus.
What now? Do we just prop our feet up and say, “all done, we can just relax”? Can we just not worry any more about people coming on our property that don’t belong here? The simple answer is no. We must stay alert. We must keep our eyes open. We must continue to be watchful.
The end of the school year is almost here. Can we just make it to May 22 at 12 noon and say, “all done, we can just relax cause the year is over”? No there are more years coming and more students to minister to.
This reminds me of where we are in the history of the world. There are many prophetic points that we can see being fulfilled before our very eyes so we could stop and say, “Jesus is coming soon so we can just prop our feet up and let Him come”. Maybe some might say, “there is nothing more that we can do”.
With this in mind remember a few things:
that God is calling us to keep watch
to keep going into all the world
to keep loving people
not to sleep or slumber
Take a break to get your strength back, sure. Run to God and be refreshed. All the introverts out there have some alone time and be energized again. But when God refills you, energizes you, helps your strength be revived, keep “Going therefore into all the world” because that is God’s marching orders until He comes!
So thankful that MAC is a church where all nations and all generations can come together to keep going into all the world “together”. We can’t stop now! May we be found “going” when Jesus comes!
