Watch God Work

Happy New Year? Be honest. Did you say that phrase with a little bit of trepidation on January 1st? This year is unknown. It looks dark and formless. Will we have another year ravaged by Covid 19? What will the politicians do this year? What will I do this year? What can I expect when I look out on the New Year, and it is formless and void? Friend, I would say that we are in a position to see great things, when things look dark and formless.

Genesis: 1:1 says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.”

Formlessness darkness is God's canvas on which He paints new life, new purpose, and new blessings.

So I challenge you this week to sit back, and watch God work this year. I’ll be looking forward to the light show!
