Hi Church Family,

 

What a time we have had since Christmas!

On December 24, after we had our church service, it was so cold that a pipe or two burst open in our hallway. Water went through our building from Saturday afternoon, until I came in on Monday, December 26 at 8:00 a.m. Water went through almost all of the building, halfway into the sanctuary, down as far as the women's restroom, all through the lobby and church offices. What a watery mess!

 

Nevertheless, we are blessed and God is going to take care of us. We had professionals start the renovation on Sunday, January 8. We have moved all classes and activities out of the building until the project is finished. We are hoping this will be by the end of February. But you know how projects go…sometimes they go smoothly, sometimes there is a hiccup along the way. But together, we shall make it. So, rev up your faith and courage, and pray, church pray.

For you and me this means:
We will be moving our church service down to the gym beginning
Sabbath, January 14.

 

We will have Sabbath schools at 10:15 a.m. and only one service at 11:15 a.m.
There will be NO 9:00 a.m. service.

 

I am so appreciative of each of you and my mighty team of helpers and supporters. We want our building to be safe, healthy, beautiful and bring honor and glory to God. But in the end, God is good, and we are His people.
