OUTREACH

WE ARE a community building relationships with God and each other by investing in the passions of young people, fostering involvement and being a positive influence in the local community.

As Christians we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Throughout the year we have opportunities where we can partner together to show Jesus to the local and even global community. Join us!

Join us on Sabbath, April 27 after our 11:15 am service. We will be visiting residents of Kennesaw Village, an assisted living facility not far from the church. Bring your own lunch and meet up with everyone in Carman Adventist School's lunchroom. We'll give instructions and head over to Kennesaw Village.

Rise Against Hunger (Instagram Post (Square)) (2).jpg

On Sunday, February 25 we packaged 10,000 meals to be sent overseas to those who are food insecure.

Our next Rise Against Hunger event will be on Sunday, September 29.

God in Little Shoes (Instagram Post (Square)).jpg

Each year we partner with F.R.E.E., an Adventist organization that works to help refugee families get settled in the United States. One way they help is to get children enrolled at Duluth Adventist Christian School or Atlanta Adventist Academy.

In years past we have helped provide new shoes for these students. This year F.R.E.E. is asking for assistance in providing scholarships for their schooling. If you'd like to help, turn in cash or check made to MAC or give online. Please specify that it's for God in Little Shoes.

Back to School Bash (Instagram Post (Square)).jpg

In July of each year, we partner with YELLS at their Back to School Bash. Church members donate non-perishable foods, Bible and gently used books to be given out to families. We also have several doctors and nurses who are able to do school medical checks on children.

This event was on Saturday, July 22, 2023.

Franklin Gateway Christmas.jpg

Christmas 2024 saw us taking part in three events for the community of Franklin Gateway, an area of Marietta. We partnered with YELLS to give away food at the annual Christmas party, put on Walk through Bethlehem, where families experienced the Christmas story of Jesus' birth by driving or walking through a reenactment of Bethlehem and hosted an event where we provided gifts from wish lists for kids who would otherwise not get a Christmas.
