Think Carefully

The Bible can grab your attention like no other book can. One of the texts that sobers me from our last chapter in Deuteronomy is chapter 34, verse 7, which says, "Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were not weak nor his strength gone." This alludes to the proclamation from God, which said that he would not make it into Canaan no matter what. Isn't that sobering?

Moses had the mentality to walk in but couldn't.

Moses had the physical strength to walk in but couldn't.

Moses had the spirit to walk in but couldn't because of a previous choice that disqualified him.

My word to you this week is to think carefully before you make a reckless decision today. Think before you send the text. Think before you go to that house. Think before you act in your anger! My prayer is that you make it into the Promised Land.
